On the rear frame x-member (side to side), two 16x4.5/x2.5 iron weights are bolted. What are their purpose? Reduce wheel hop under acceleration? Any-way, I removed them since I don't drive that hard. Also, does the 390/300hp engine have solid lifters, or hyd? What engine oil is recommended? Thanks, Ron.
