1966 Pontiac
This is one sweet car, and gets tons of looks and thumbs up. It\'s a 66 Pontiac Ventura (technically a Catalina with the rare Ventura package, so all the emblems say Ventura). The Catalina is the big sis to the GTO and I have people ask me all the time if it is one. The car is a blue/purple with Black interior (although the backseat and headliner still need to be redone). The Good: Car is VERY clean with little to no rust issues. check out the pics, io even show pics without the carpet so you can see how clean the floorboards are. I only notice on spot (see The Bad below). Car has a rebuilt 389 with headers and a Edelbrock 4 Barrel Carb. Car has working thrush sidepipes that look and sound amazing. The dash is almost perfect. Three on the tree manual... hard to find. Front seat out of a 69 Grand prix (still have original frame though goes withe sale) but the GP seat fits and bolts in perfect. Car has airride suspension (air bags) so you can ride at crusing height like me, or slam it down. New Carpet New Alternator Newer paintjob, although the PO did it himself. Looks awesome from 15 feet... you can see some imperfections when you get closer. Car just passed inspection and is registered with a free and clear title Awesome JVC headunit with 2 Kenwood 6 inches in doors, tweeter mounted on the roof, 4 10\'s on back lid and 2 amps mounted in trunk. No rust underneath or in trunk Power steering and brakes Good glass Brand new tires Baby Moon rims Shaved door handles, with remote door poppers Car has never overheated on me, even in this weather. The Bad: Slight ticking of the lifters, probably from sitting a bit after engine rebuild.... engine runs awesome regardless. Even though the brakes are power, they are drum brakes all around Some body filler, not sure how much as the PO owner did all the body work. Overall it looks great, but again, you can see some imperfections. Rear Bumper needs to be rechromed One tailight has a short, (really it just seems dimmer than the others, not sure why) Rear seat is not currently in car, as mentioned above. I do have all the framing and it is covered, i just think its ugly and want it redone. No headliner, but i do have all the bows for it actual vinyl part of dash is wrapped in vinyl.... hard to find a replacement dash for the car. Vinyl in interior was painted to match seats.... looks good (in my opinion) but the original color was red. All the vinyl is in great shape though. I may have forgot something.... but check the car out in the pics and feel free to ask any questions... you can email, call, or text (texting preferred). I am open to offers/trades as i am looking to get a jeep, FJ40, or Early Bronco, etc. I love my car, but it doesn\'t really fit in my garage and for a daily driver in the winter.... it may prove to be challenging in the snow! Plus it\'s too nice to leave outside in the winter, I want to keep it rust free. http://s1191.photobucket.com/albums/z478/MNetzer/66%20Pontiac/ Matt - 636-248-5279
