1955 Olds 2drht chopped rod
I don\'t want to, I learned to drive in this car, but need the cash. My dad bought this 24 years ago in yuba CA. This car doesn\'t know what rust is, has the top cut off. It comes with the371, (now 403) 58 J2 with stromberg 97s that George Barris put in the glass 23 bucket he built in \'68. That has 2 broken pistons, but it can be salvaged, it dyno\'d around 575 HP, with a 3rd hydromatic that\'s built and you can adjust while driving to snap your neck, it used to be scary fast. Motor parts include, I believe the original 324/hydro, a rebuilt maybe 5000 miles on it, (but probably less) 54 324/hydro that ran this summer in it now, about everything that could be chromed, or alumminum was. I have an extra speedometer, if I remember right the original am radio and speaker still work and the heater will cook you, and many other parts as well. It\'s primered black but was red/white. It\'s a project, but everything is there as far as the stainless, emblems (some have been taken off and polished out) etc., but it does look pretty good as a fake drop top. The dash is perfect.
