| RM Sotheby’s kicks off its 2016 European calendar in spectacular fashion with a return to Paris on February 3 for its third annual sale, which takes place during the world-famous Retromobile show week. The auction is held at the historic Place Vauban, in the city’s center, whose stunning grounds offer the perfect setting to present the finest sports, racing, and touring cars from both pre- and post-war periods. With in excess of €19 million worth of fine cars sold at the 2015 sale, the 2016 event will celebrate its third anniversary by bringing more than 60 outstanding automobiles to market during one of the most important weeks on Europe’s classic car calendar.
RM’s 2016 Paris auction will be held immediately after the Festival Automobile International, which is scheduled from December 3 to January 31. This exciting event will gather a stunning display of beautiful concept cars and pay tribute to car designers from around the world.
